1) Talk to me about the making of your latest project – King Of Da Hill. What was the inspiration behind it?

My latest project “King Of Da Hill” was inspired by my hometown Candor, NC. Brutonville rd AkA HillTop.

2) With the music industry tanking and record sales falling, how do you envision yourself earning a living as an independent hip-hop artist?

With the music industry tanking and record sales falling, I envision myself earning a living as an independent hip-hop artist by speaking facts about everyday life as an young african american living in poverty and telling my story wile painting a picture for minds with my words.

3) From a business point of view, which artists in the game do you think are really pushing the boundaries and changing it up?

From a business point of view, I think artist like Rae Sremmurd, Future, Boosie, and more are pushing the boundaries and changing it up.

4) What business lessons have you learnt from the music industry so far?

I have learned that in this music industry it takes more than good music to make it in the industry, If the business, appearance, music, and performance is right then you have a good chance in making it.

5) What do you love about hip-hop music?

I love how you can be yourself with hip-hop, and be creative.I also love how hip-hop can bring people together and make a difference.

6) What still surprises you about hip-hop?

What still surprises me about hip-hop is that a lot of people lie about everything in a song and lie about their lifestyle.

7) If you had the power to change one thing about the hip-hop industry to help independent artists – what would it be?

If i had the power to change one thing about the hip-hop industry to help independent artists I would raise the price of live shows.

8) Who do you think are top 3 rappers doing it at the moment?

At the moment my top 3 rappers are Boosie, Future, and Meek Mill.

9) So what are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future are to have my music known world wide, song for song. I want to have my own clothing line, and different types of businesses, I want to direct movies and videos, and be in a few movies maybe.
