After the release of my first project i wanted to take time on creating a Hip Hop sounding project. With my first one it was more about composition, and melody. The Beat Tape focuses more of what i want to accomplish with my career which is combining poetry (that i write myself) with music (That i produce myself).
The release of this project to me is special because i’m able to give people insight through my writing, and i believe it is a great example of lyrical honesty which isn’t as prominent in Hip Hop today.
