Playboi Carti on Alleged Met Gala Ban

Did Playboi Carti really get the boot from the chicest event of the year? His Instagram post has everyone talking.

On Instagram, Playboi Carti claimed he was banned from this year’s Met Gala, likening the situation to being kicked out of prom. He posted: “MET GALA BANNED ME FELT LIKE WE GOT KICKED OUT OF PROM BUT WE GOOD [GIO] WITH ME IM A HAPPY MAN F*CK EM.”

This revelation raised eyebrows, especially since Carti’s close friend, A$AP Rocky, was a co-chair of the Gala. The event, orchestrated by Vogue’s Anna Wintour, has not commented on Carti’s claims.

If Carti’s ban is confirmed, he wouldn’t be the first high-profile figure to face such exclusion. He would join an exclusive club featuring names like current president Donald Trump.

This year’s Met Gala became a media sensation with the news of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky expecting their third child. Rihanna, fashionably late, showcased her baby bump but chose not to speak to reporters. Instead, Rocky expressed his happiness and excitement on the red carpet.

Also making news at the Gala was André 3000, who surprised many by launching his new EP ‘7 Piano Sketches’. Arriving in a striking outfit, André used social media to share that the project was recorded almost a decade ago. He described it as both the best and worst rap album in history, noting its emotional depth despite lacking lyrics.

With the Met Gala stirring such varied stories, from Playboi Carti’s ban to joyous baby news and André 3000’s musical surprise, it proved to be an event packed with intrigue and excitement.
