Kendrick Lamar’s decision to modify his diss track ‘Euphoria’ by taking out some lines about Drake has created a buzz. This revelation came from TDE’s Punch, who mentioned the initial version of the track contained jabs that were ultimately removed.
In an interview with Curtiss King, Punch disclosed that Kendrick’s initial cut was intended to be longer, with more biting shots at Drake. However, he persuaded Kendrick that omitting these parts was wiser for the long haul.
Punch didn’t know the exact length of the original but assured that numerous bits were left out. He believed some inclusions wouldn’t benefit Kendrick’s objectives, hence his suggestion to Kendrick to remove them.
Kendrick’s beef with Drake has always piqued interest, particularly with ‘Euphoria’ being his answer to Drake’s track ‘Push Ups’. Punch remarked on Drake’s output, describing it as lacking the punch needed to stand up to Kendrick.
