In a shocking twist, rapper Yella Beezy has been charged with orchestrating the murder of fellow Texas artist, Mo3, five years after the tragic event.

Yella Beezy, widely known for his hit song “That’s On Me,” is currently in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The rapper, whose real name is Markies Conway, has been indicted for allegedly orchestrating the murder of Mo3, another Dallas rapper.

The incident, dating back to November 11, 2020, involved Mo3, born Melvin Noble Jr., being pursued and fatally shot on Interstate 35E in Dallas. The chilling ordeal was captured on security footage, showing a masked assailant shooting Mo3 multiple times.

The new charges surfaced after a grand jury’s decision on March 20. The accusations claim Beezy hired Kewon Dontrell White to execute the shooting. White, already serving time for related drug and gun charges, was initially indicted alongside Devin Maurice Brown in 2021.

Beezy’s arrest follows previous legal troubles, including a lawsuit by Mo3’s manager, Brandon Rainwater. Rainwater alleged Beezy and his crew assaulted him, leading to a dislocated hip, though the video evidence didn’t clearly identify Beezy.

As of now, Beezy is held without bail at Dallas County Jail. Prosecutors have not yet disclosed whether they will seek the death penalty, a possibility given Texas’ capital punishment laws.

The rappers’ feud adds a layer of complexity to the case. Earlier tensions between them might have set the stage for this tragic outcome. As the legal proceedings unfold, attention remains on the severe implications for everyone involved.

As the justice system delves into the details of this high-profile case, the music world watches closely. Both Yella Beezy and Mo3’s names have been firmly etched into the narrative of hip hop history, albeit under grim circumstances.
