The weekend took a tense turn for OMB Peezy outside a Raleigh nightclub when over 20 bullets shattered the night.

Early Sunday morning chaos erupted outside StarBar in East Raleigh. As club-goers dispersed, shots rang out, targeting OMB Peezy’s sprinter van. Witnesses, startled by the sudden gunfire, scrambled for safety, unsure where the danger was coming from.

In the commotion, it wasn’t just Peezy’s vehicle that suffered. Four other cars were struck by stray bullets. Peezy’s driver, in a desperate bid to escape, collided with additional vehicles. Miraculously, despite the flurry of bullets, no one was hurt.

The police quickly categorized the incident as an aggravated assault, launching an investigation into the shooting. Meanwhile, Peezy was no stranger to such drama. In 2021, he faced arrest for aggravated assault and firearm possession, a situation he recalls with disbelief.

“I was just trying to figure out what the fuck was going on,” Peezy recounted about that incident. His protestations went unheard as Atlanta authorities, along with U.S. Marshals, detained him. He vehemently claimed his innocence, “Y’all got the wrong one, baby,” he insisted as he was taken away.

Interestingly, Peezy’s arrest happened during filming for a Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg music video, where an unrelated shooting had left three injured. Peezy was later acquitted, dismissing any assumed grudges between him and the two rappers.

Speculation runs rampant online, breeding rumors of beef between the artists. Peezy, however, squashes these mythes, stating, “I don’t have no smoke with Roddy Ricch or 42 Dugg. The internet always tries to stir up stories, but there’s no real beef.”

It’s a relief that no one was harmed in the nightclub incident. While the investigation continues, Peezy’s past keeps lurking. But he remains resolute, denying involvement in these dangerous escapades.
