Kanye West faces a dramatic twist in his ongoing custody saga with ex-wife Kim Kardashian as she considers legal action over their daughter North’s involvement in a controversial song.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who currently share joint custody of their four children, are back in the spotlight. Kardashian is reportedly furious after West featured their daughter North on a track with Diddy, an accused sex trafficker, without her consent.

The custody agreement they have requires both parents to have equal say on matters regarding their children. However, Kanye went ahead and included 11-year-old North in the song against Kardashian’s wishes.

According to sources, West and Kardashian’s divorce settlement stipulates that any conflicts must be resolved through a private judge. Despite attending mediation and agreeing that North would not participate in a song with Diddy for public release, West unleashed the track on social media.

The song, titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” also features Diddy’s son Christian Combs, singer Jasmine Williams, and West himself. The decision to release it sparked outrage, adding fuel to the ongoing custody dispute.

Amidst other controversies surrounding West, including his controversial remarks about Nazism, Kardashian is reportedly considering taking legal steps to strip him of his joint custody rights.

After the song’s release, Kanye shared screenshots of a heated text conversation with Kardashian. In it, he told her: “I’m never speaking with you again,” referring to an argument over the trademarking of their daughter’s name.

Kardashian reminded West: “I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18, it goes to her. So stop. I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her.”

The texting continued with Kardashian explaining: “One person has to trademark. We agreed when they were born I would get all of our kids’ names and trademarks so no one else would take them.”

In response, Kanye warned: “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

West also vented his frustration online about his role as a parent, criticizing Kardashian for allegedly limiting his parental rights. He stated: “I DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM. I NEED TO HAVE SAY SO OF WHERE THEY GO TO SCHOOL AND WHO THEIR FRIENDS ARE AND WHOSE HOUSES THEY SLEEP OVER.”

He further accused the “Kardashian mob” and major media conglomerates of exploiting their children as platforms to influence the Black community. West expressed sorrow over only seeing his kids during visitation.

The escalating tension between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian raises questions about shared custody rights and the complexities of co-parenting in the public eye.
