G Herbo, the Chicago rapper, finds himself in a hospital bed battling a severe flu strain.

In a recent update to his followers, G Herbo took to Instagram Stories, sharing an image from his hospital stay. ‘Y’all be safe out here bro, this new flu strand ain’t no joke,’ he wrote, highlighting the seriousness of his condition.

Herbo refrained from sharing specific details about his symptoms. Whether experiencing fever, chills, or body aches, it’s clear the flu has hit him hard this season.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this flu season is the worst in the U.S. in 15 years. With 25,000 fatalities reported, including over 100 children, it poses a serious threat. Moreover, nearly 600,000 Americans have been hospitalized during this period.

Flu symptoms can range from fever and fatigue to sore throat and runny nose. The severity often increases for the elderly or those with underlying health issues.

G Herbo’s struggle comes after a tough year, having lost his father in November 2024. He openly discussed this painful time during a livestream with Kai Cenat while accompanied by his young son, Yosohn.

“There’s always light at the end of the tunnel,” he shared, emphasizing his resilience in the face of adversity. Having just lost his father, he continues to find reasons to smile and support his family.

During the livestream, Herbo comforted his son as they remembered Yosohn’s grandfather. “It’s okay, man. Family first,” he reassured, instilling courage in his child.

As G Herbo fights the flu, his journey is a stark reminder of the virus’s impact and the strength needed to overcome personal challenges.
