Kanye West has once again made waves on social media, taking aim at fellow rapper J. Cole with some harsh words.

Kanye West’s distaste for J. Cole’s music is no secret. His latest comments, however, reach new heights. West, known for his unpredictable nature, recently vented his feelings on X, previously known as Twitter.

The controversy began when a post suggested J. Cole “spared” Kendrick Lamar during a brief rap feud last year. Kanye disagreed, even dragging Kendrick into the mix. He claimed, ‘I hate J Cole music so much,’ suggesting industry insiders pressured Cole to diss Drake.

In a string of tweets, West didn’t hold back, stating, ‘No one listens to J. Cole after losing their virginity.’ Clearly, his animosity towards the Dreamville rapper runs deep.

Rewinding to Kanye’s meeting with Drake during the ‘Donda’ era, he recalled criticizing Drake for supporting J. Cole. West expressed his preference for Future instead. Kanye’s words paint a picture of a tense hip-hop landscape.

Despite his attacks on J. Cole, West surprisingly expressed admiration for Drake and Will Smith. He described Smith as one of his biggest inspirations, marveling at his successful life and family. West also noted his complicated relationship with Drake, saying, ‘How I hate Drake and I’m team Drake at the same time.’

Kanye’s criticisms of J. Cole aren’t new. They’ve been ongoing since West dropped a controversial remix featuring Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar. In an interview with Justin Laboy, he disparaged Cole for apologizing to Kendrick, dismissing it as ‘pussy shit.’

Kanye’s disdain extends to the 2017 track ‘False Idols,’ which he believes is partly about him. This longstanding feud shows no signs of cooling down, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

Kanye West continues to stir controversy with his outspoken views on J. Cole and the wider rap industry. His remarks fuel ongoing debates and highlight the complex dynamics between today’s hip-hop giants.
