Just a day before hitting the big 4-0, J. Cole steps into the blogging world, echoing Kanye’s earlier foray.

J. Cole has unveiled his new blog, ‘The Algorithm,’ marking a nostalgic return to the blogging era reminiscent of Kanye West’s own digital musings. The Dreamville artist expressed a desire to create a more intimate space compared to the vast reach of social media.

In his debut post, Cole shared his intent to use this platform for sharing random interests, a wish he harbored for years. As he puts it, “This is just a place for me to share.”

He kicked off his blog by linking to Ahmad’s reflective 1994 track “Back in the Day,” a song he cherishes from his childhood. Cole’s post was filled with gratitude, as he reminisced about his youth spent on Lewis Street and looked forward to turning 40 with excitement and thankfulness.

Fans are buzzing with the hope that Cole’s upbeat view of 2025 might hint at the release of his anticipated album, ‘The Fall Off.’ With the Dreamville Festival approaching, he previously hinted at new music for the event-goers.

J. Cole isn’t the first rapper to dive into blogging. Kanye West’s now-defunct blog, KanyeUniversecity.com, was a space for him to share thoughts on fashion and culture. Similarly, Tyler, The Creator had a blog, where he documented his pre-fame life’s events.

J. Cole’s move into blogging adds a personal touch to his interactions with fans, offering insights beyond the music.
