However, 50 Cent also hinted at the hefty price Diddy would need to pay for such representation, emphasizing the urgency by noting, “there’s no time to prepare!”
This support comes as somewhat of a surprise given 50 Cent’s long-standing rivalry with Diddy. Tacopina, a high-profile lawyer known for defending big names like Donald Trump and Alex Rodriguez, has confirmed receiving multiple invites from Diddy’s camp to join his defense team.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Tacopina remained non-committal, stating, “I’m going to speak to him. I’m not saying yes or no. I’m just going to listen.” Despite the interest, Tacopina initially expressed disinterest in representing Diddy, citing his close ties with JAY-Z and Roc Nation.
