Lil Wayne is back at it, assembling a hit Hip Hop team with a twist! This time, Eminem leads the pack.

During a lively chat with NFL star Travis Hunter on his podcast, Lil Wayne, affectionately known as Weezy, was deep in thought as he pieced together his ultimate fantasy team. He didn’t hold back and named Jay-Z right off the bat. ‘I don’t know if he’s the coach or something, but he a veteran,’ he said, setting the tone for his choices.

Weezy then picked Drake, or Drizzy as he likes to call him, emphasizing his versatility: ‘He could play both sides of the ball, he could sing and rap.’ It seems Weezy had a star-studded lineup in mind!

As Lil Wayne mixed things up, he asked, ‘Do they gotta rap right?’ before deciding on Kiss for his squad. ‘I think you see Kiss in that backfield and get scared,’ he chuckled. Weezy had some neat strategies up his sleeve!

For a mover, Wayne surprised everyone by picking Nicki, quipping, ‘Turn around and shake that ass for ’em – Nicki!’ And when it came to toughness, Biggie was the man, even pondering if his choices had to be alive.

Adding a wild card to keep things real, he went with J. Cole: ‘He gon’ keep the ship steady when we got the hot heads tripping.’ Weezy’s got it all figured out!

As for Eminem, Weezy playfully stated, ‘No race shit, but you gotta have a nice white boy as quarterback.’ He even toyed with the idea of Eminem kicking for the team! Another name that nearly made the cut was Missy Elliott, who ended up being his backup player. He acknowledged her versatility, saying, ‘Missy coming in as my emergency player because she can do everything. She can sing, dance, and rap. And produce.’

Wayne’s admiration for Missy Elliott runs deep. He once surprised her at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas, showing her wax figure some love. Missy reciprocated the admiration, tweeting heartfelt words to Wayne: ‘@LilTunechi You have Birthed a whole generation after you.’ Her message was a testament to the respect and admiration within the community.

Lil Wayne’s imaginative lineup might be fantasy, but it shines a light on the talent and camaraderie in the Hip Hop world. From Jay-Z’s veteran experience to Eminem’s quarterback skills, it’s all about celebrating the flash, style, and respect among Hip Hop giants.
