In an unexpected twist, pop legend Madonna has revealed her admiration for Kendrick Lamar’s latest album ‘GNX’.
During an Instagram interview with The People’s Gallery, Madonna was asked to share her current favorite song. With characteristic flair, she exclaimed, ‘Oh my God… Ummm… Anything on Kendrick Lamar’s new album,’ referring to his hit LP ‘GNX’.
This endorsement from the ‘Like a Prayer’ singer isn’t out of the blue. Madonna has previously expressed her admiration for Lamar. In 2022, she told Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ about her wish to collaborate with the rapper, describing Kendrick’s work as ‘history-making’ and ‘mind-bogglingly brilliant.’
While their collaboration remains a dream, Madonna has a history of teaming up with top rappers, including Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. Notably, she also had close ties with 2Pac before his untimely death.
Outside of her musical preferences, Madonna recently stirred social media buzz for her appearance with rapper NLE Choppa at New York Fashion Week. Speculation about a possible romantic link erupted following a photo captioned cryptically with ‘c. u. n. t.’ The rumors were fueled by Madonna’s known relationships with younger men post her divorce from Guy Ritchie. However, neither she nor Choppa has commented on the rumors.
