Talib Kweli has launched an online radio station on Radionomy, a user-generated streaming radio platform and one of the largest online radio networks in the world.
His station, Javotti Radio, specialises in playing hip-hop and R&B and will be used a platform to showcase artists from Kweli’s label, Javotti Media.
According to Thierry Azcarez, the US Manager of Radionomy, in a press release, “We offer the ability to create and run a fully functioning radio station from any web-enabled device.”
“This gives artists like Kweli a perfect platform to communicate with their audiences without having to deal with the business or technology hassles of radio.”
