Kendrick Lamar is once again at the center of ghostwriting rumors after a Baby Keem reference track surfaced online, reviving a debate that he has faced before.

These discussions took off when a reference track for Baby Keem’s song ‘Bullies’ leaked online, prompting speculation about Kendrick’s involvement. This was fueled by a past comment from Drake in his song ‘Family Matters,’ where he implied that Kendrick’s success was partly due to Baby Keem’s writing talents.

Back in 2017, during an interview with Rolling Stone, Kendrick expressed his nuanced views on ghostwriting in rap. ‘It depends on what arena you’re putting yourself in. I called myself the best rapper. I cannot call myself the best rapper if I have a ghostwriter,’ he noted. ‘If you’re saying you’re a different type of artist and you don’t really care about the art form of being the best rapper, then so be it. Make great music. But the title, it won’t be there.’

As the leaked ‘Bullies’ track made rounds online, fans debated Drake’s claims, some suggesting that if Kendrick did write for Baby Keem, Drake’s jabs lose their sting. One fan tweeted, ‘A Full reference track Leaked from bullies from Baby Keem seems to me Kendrick ghost wrote Bullies for Baby keem? 🤔🤔 if so then that Drake bar is invalid.’

On the other hand, the drama between Kendrick and Drake reached new heights with allegations from Drake about Kendrick, suggesting deeper, more personal conflicts. In ‘Family Matters,’ Drake rapped about deceiving Kendrick with false information, a move meant to expose what he saw as Kendrick’s impulsive nature.

Akademiks, a media personality close to Drake, provided more insight on his Rumble channel. He suggested that Drake was aware of certain items used in Kendrick’s ‘Meet the Grahams’ artwork were stolen. ‘I think Drake knew these things were stolen. It does look like some stolen shit,’ he commented, hinting at the ongoing tension and mind games between the two artists.

With the leaked track stirring the pot, the Kendrick Lamar ghostwriting debate is far from settled. As fans dissect every lyric and reference, the feud between Kendrick and Drake continues to intensify, leaving everyone eager for what comes next.
