During an impromptu Twitter Q&A yesterday, Jay-Z was asked whether he thought his latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, was his best work yet. Hov replied saying it was hard to beat Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint and The Black Album, but Magna Carta Holy Grail could fight for fourth.

Later on, Jay-Z would post up a photo of him ranking all his albums from best to worst, with his comments included:

1. Reasonable Doubt (Classic)
2. The Blueprint (Classic)
3. The Black Album (Classic)
4. Vol. 2 (Classic)
5. American Gangster (4 1/2, cohesive)
