“Catalyst” is the newest release from Maryland’s own V-i. Though brief, each song is a view into his mind and life this year, all the while showcasing his abilities as a lyricist on every track, as well as a producer.

Whether detailing the relatable ins and outs of a tumultuous, failed love (Deceit), the flaws of his generation (Papa Hova Cypher) or breaking down Hip Hop and just delivering bars on the opening title track, he stands to make every verse memorable for his listeners. This EP also serves as a precursor to a lot of planned music for 2017.
