Blue City was written about my own life experiences as an artist and the perspectives I received from my interactions with others and the city I live in. The album has a very relaxing and soothing feel, with aspects of reminiscent jazz vibes within the melodies.

Lyrically, it’s from a personal perspective, I use a lot of imagery, wordplay and storytelling to convey my ideas and experiences. In essence, Blue City was derived through the lens of an introspective notion, written as poetry over new-age jazz/hip hop beats.

The idea for the album came into being late 2015, when I came across a homeless man in Sydney. He told me his story about our Blue City.
