Mistakes are okay as long as you learn from them. 2016 has been one of the craziest years of my life. (Well, now everyone’s considering Donald Trump being elected as our president.) I’ve lost people I loved. Lost people who I thought were closest to me.
I’ve learned peoples true colors and realized I was surrounded by a few who were not who they portrayed. I will never let that happen to me again. I keep my circle small and my guard up, and make sure now I’m only surrounded by good, honest individuals. Be careful of the people you trust.
Mistakes are okay, in fact, they can be great as long as you learn, grow, and become stronger from them. I’ve definitely made some mistakes, but I’m thankful for them because they’ve made me open my eyes wider and to be a little more precautious and wiser in each of my next steps. It’s only forward from here.
