“Gangster Jazz” is a juxtaposition of a hard gangster bass line under a haunting jazz piano and horn. Clemits has been accused of not using enough bass in his productions. With this thought in mind Clemits took obsessive measures to meticulously craft thick resonating bass lines and hammer hard kick drums.
