Hip-hop heads, did you know that during the height of the East Coast-West Coast beef, a relatively unknown DMX sent shots at Tupac?
At the time, Pac was mashing on anything and everything New York hip-hop related, particularly The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Mobb Deep and Jay-Z. Being from Yonkers, New York, DMX decided to represent his city and released a freestyle over LL Cool J’s gritty “I Shot Ya” beat with a few bars thrown at Pac.
