2007 was truly the year where the A-listers separated themselves from the pack. While the year was filled with diverse releases from veterans and newcomers, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Timbaland, Lupe Fiasco, Young Buck, 2007 was the story of Kanye West, 50 Cent, Jay-Z and T.I.

These four artists released albums that managed to move massive units, overshadowing any other rap releases of 2007.

It was also the year where Kanye’s Graduation went up against 50’s Curtis in the first week sales and won. Graduation ended up selling nearly 300,000 more units than Curtis and in the process, changed the hip-hop landscape forever, opening up the floodgates for less gangster rappers to grab the commercial spotlight.

Let’s take a look at the 10 biggest hip-hop first week album sales in 2007.
