Artist Background: Born in Monroe, LA, the son of Bobbie Jean Robinson-Currie. I got into music by listening to my dad, BIlly Ray Currie jazz album, e.g. Najee, Gil Scott Heron, Roy Ayers, Joe Sample. I got my first taste of hip hop in the late 80’s as a kid. I started incorporating jazz music and hip hop music in the 90’s. I’ve worked with various producers and artist since my inception into the industry.
