Project Background: CAKE! is a complex project. It ranges from the struggles of tryin to get money, to the joys of finally starting to make some. It’s a reflection on all of the people who were only in my life seasonally, and a celebration of my day ones.
It has some very reflective tracks as well as some bangers that’ll heat the fall up. I took more risks on this project than in the past and it’s definitely out of my comfort zone. I wanted to give people a look at where I am in my life right now and I think CAKE! is the best reflection of that.
