Maurice Brown has just released a new single “Stand Up” featuring hip-hop master Talib Kweli from his newest album The Mood, due out March 24, 2017.

The two exchange verses in this new jazzy number that serves as a call-to-action and encourages listeners to stand for something and be meaningful with their lives.

From now until New Orlean Jazz Fest, Maurice will be hosting “Mobetta Tuesdays” at the Jazz Standard in NYC.

Every Tuesday, he will be welcoming special guests (like Snarky Puppy’s Michael League, drum legend Lenny White, saxophonist Skerik and more) to join him for different weekly musical themes.
