Staten Island hip-hop artist, Billy Ivan, drops the latest joint – “Asking” – off his upcoming album.
“Sometimes in life events take place where we are challenged with plenty of questions. Of all the questions we might want to ask, uncertainty can shed light onto our deepest fears. These experiences can at times force us to witness a side of ourselves that we never even knew existed. As children growing up we dream so bright, but sudden impacts of hardships can create an off switch to our inner glow. Falling short of the answers but still with infinite wishes I call this one “Asking”.
